"This association will benefit millions of dairy farmers across India. The content will be based on ground realities, actual problems and issues faced by farmers," NDDB Chairman T Nanda Kumar said in a statement.
He assured knowledge, information and facilitation support to DD Kisan channel.
The MoU aims at dissemination of up-to-date technical know-hows to farmers, improve their livelihood and income by enhancing their knowledge, and provide information on various technical issues related to farming in broader sense, NDDB said.
He said that the collaboration will enhance livelihood and income of the farming community.
Last month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched Doordarshan's farmer-centric channel, DD Kisan. The 24 hour TV channel focuses primarily on agriculture sector and rural India.
