NDFB(S) ultra nabbed

A hardcore National Democratic Front of Boroland-Songbijit militant was apprehended from Gohpur in Assam's Sonitpur district today, police said.
The militant was identified as Debo Basumatary (29) who was involved with the October 24 grenade blast at Itakhola town in the district during Diwali celebrations when five persons were injured, the police said.
A grenade and a mobile phone were recovered from the ultra who is a resident of Lakhimpur district and was taking shelter at Gohpur after the Itakhola incident, they added.
