"North Delhi Municipal Corporation will digitise all records of properties for property tax records and maintain it in an electronic form," North Delhi Mayor Ravinder Gupta today said.
Through this process property tax department will be able to "synchronise old and new data" and it will help maintain the record of property tax-payers, he said.
A senior NDMC official when contacted said the "tender would soon be floated" to begin the process.
The Mayor further said that a "unique identification code" process has already been launched and digitisation of data would help in identifying the defaulters.
