About 50 personnel of 9th NDRF battalion underwent four weeks of rigorous training to meet any exigencies happening on this account, a NDRF statement said today.
NDRF came into existence at Bihta in Patna district in 2010 to help in time of distress.
The training took place under supervision of Commandant of 9 battlion of NDRF, Vijay Sinha.
On completion of training, the NDRF personnel hosted a show to demonstrate their skill in tackling accidents.

The demonstration was carried on under leadership of Inspector Ajit Kumar Singh.
Commandant Vijay Sinha said that due to rampant industrialisation, use of chemical, atomic and radiology gases have increased and thus the need to deal with any accident on this account have also become all the more important.
He appreciated NDRF jawans for showcasing high technique during demonstration to deal with accident due to leakage of chemical, atomic and radiological gases.
