NDTV posts Q3 net loss of Rs 18.49 crore

Broadcasting company New Delhi Television Ltd (NDTV) today reported widening of consolidated net loss to Rs 18.49 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2016.
The company had reported a net loss of Rs 12.54 crore in October-December quarter a year ago, NDTV said in a BSE filing.
NDTV's total consolidated income from operations was down 10.92 per cent to Rs 132.20 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 148.41 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
Total expenses stood at Rs 144.92 crore as against Rs 159.89 crore, down 9.36 per cent.
Shares of NDTV today settled at Rs 75.65 on BSE, down 1.82 per cent from previous close.
