Nearly five-fold rise in ITDC Q4 profit

India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) standalone net profit rose nearly five- fold to Rs 22.06 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 4.53 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, ITDC said in a filing to the BSE.
Standalone total income from operations also rose to Rs 143.98 crore for the quarter under consideration as against Rs 117.71 crore for the same period year ago.
The company posted a standalone net profit of Rs 34.36 crore for the financial year ended March this year. It was Rs 9.42 crore for the previous fiscal year.
Standalone total income from operations of the company also rose to Rs 472.27 crore for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2015 as against Rs 438.26 crore for the previous fiscal.
In a separate filing to BSE, ITDC said it's board has recommended a dividend of 20 per cent on the equity share capital of the company.
Shares of India Tourism Development Corporation today closed at Rs 153.50 on BSE, down 4.42 per cent from it's previous close.
