Addressing the second convocation of the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) here today, she stressed the need for a literate, educated and empowered India, an official release said.
The Minister appreciated the contribution of IISER Bhopal to the science education and research.
The release said the Minister was optimistic that IISER, Bhopal, can meet the standards of elite institutions world-wide and surpass them in future.
