The government said it will voice its concerns during the GST Council meeting on June 3.
"We are primarily going to raise five issues in the next GST meeting on June 3. One, tax structures should be practical in nature. Second, the government should once again initiate consultations with all trade bodies whoever raise grievances.
"Third one is finished goods should be treated as one product (despite various components get into making of that)," Telangana Finance Minister E Rajender said.
He hoped that Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will give a patient hearing to the issues that are going to be raised in the meeting.
The minister said he is going to request the finance minister to reconsider tax slabs on some of the items such as Granite which is kept at 28 per cent slab.
Replying to a query, he said the state government is yet to assess the impact of GST on the state revenues once it is implemented.
