As many as 84 child labourers were rescued by Nepal Police from various parts of Rolpa district, an NGO said here on Sunday.
The children aged below 16 were working at brick kilns, hotels and restaurants and transport firms, according to the Rolpa unit of the NGO, Save the Children.
"Most of the rescued children were reunited with their families and were enrolled in schools with the support of various organisations," the NGO representative Dil Kamal Chhetri said.
Some of the children have been provided with skill-oriented training and rehabilitated in society, he added.
