Madhesi leader and Sadbhawana Party president Rajendra Mahato has been admitted to the ICU at Bir Hospital.
The Party General Secretary Manish Suman claimed that Mahato was forcefully taken away.
An ambulance was brought to Ratna Park where the leader was on fast without any knowledge of the party, Suman said, adding he did not know where leader Mahato was taken.
Police had to use force while picking up the protesting leader. They resorted to lathi-charge to disperse the party cadres assembled at the site, he said.

It is learnt that, a team of doctors from the Bir Hospital had visited Mahato at Shanti Batika to inquire about his health condition this morning.
