Streaming service, Netflix has announced that it has cancelled its sci-fi drama "Sense8".
The cluster will not return for a third season, reported Entertainment Weekly.
"After 23 episodes, 16 cities and 13 countries, the story of the Sense8 cluster is coming to an end. It is everything we and the fans dreamt it would be: bold, emotional, stunning, kick ass, and outright unforgettable.
"Never has there been a more truly global show with an equally diverse and international cast and crew, which is only mirrored by the connected community of deeply passionate fans all around the world. We thank Lana, Lilly, Joe and Grant for their vision, and the entire cast and crew for their craftsmanship and commitment," Cindy Holland, Netflix's vice president of original content, said in a statement.
The series follows Will, Riley, Nomi, Lito, Wolfgang, Sun, Capheus, and Kala - as they get into tight spots with local authorities and mobsters across continents and cultures.
The group is hunted by an evil sensate named Whispers, who heads an organisation that goes after his fellow kind. In second season, the gang connects with other similarly gifted individuals from clusters other than their own.
"Sense8's" official Twitter account shared a heartfelt message: "Thank you for being part of our journey. Sensates forever.
