The news was revealed on an FYC panel at the Pacific Design Center that included series co-creators and executive producers Marta Kauffman and Howard J Morris, along with series stars Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Martin Sheen, reported Deadline.
"Let me say, it's so awesome to do a show on Netflix because two and a half weeks after we launched, Miley Cyrus does a tweet about your show, and they call and say, 'We'd like to do a season two'. So yes, there is a season two. We have Ted and Miley to thank," said Kauffman, series co-creator and executive producer.
Both sparring partners and partners-in-crime, they form an unlikely bond to face an uncertain future together and discover a new definition of 'family'.
