Netflix teams up with Curzon to release film in UK
Press Trust of India London Netflix have teamed up with cinema chain Curzon to release its first original film, "Beasts of No Nation" in UK theatres a week before it becomes available worldwide on the streaming service.
The film will also be shown on October 8th at London film festival, as part of the competition, reported Contactmusic.
Adapted from Uzodinma Iweala's novel of the same name, "Beasts Of No Nation" stars Idris Elba as a warlord in an unnamed West African country who forces a young boy to become a solider.
The film is directed by True Detective's Cary Fukunaga and also stars Abraham Attah and Ama K Abebrese.
"Beasts of No Nation" premiered at the Venice Film Festival earlier this year, earning praise from critics and picking up the Marcello Mastroianni for its teenage star Abraham Attah.
