New CEO for Air India Charters from March

K Shyam Sundar will take over as Chief Executive Officer of Air India Charters Ltd from March.
Executive Director-Commercial (Sales & Marketing), Air India presently, Shyam Sundar brings a wealth of aviation experience to his new assignment, an AIE press release said.
Beginning his career in aviation as a Management Trainee in erstwhile Indian Airlines way back in 1983, he had previously headed the Revenue Management/Industry Affairs and Market Planning in the Commercial Department of Air India in the capacity of General Manager, the release said.
He has also served over more than 3 years in the Gulf as Country Manager-UAE.

Shyam Sundar would be based in AICL's Corporate Headquarters at Kochi which has been recently strengthened with the appointment of 15 new employees, including those at senior levels. These include Chiefs of HR, Commercial Operations and a Deputy Chief of Finance, it said.
