Colombia's new President Ivan Duque said today upon taking office that he would implement "corrective measures" to the 2016 peace deal his predecessor reached with leftist FARC rebels.
Duque also said he would take a tougher tack in talks with the country's last active rebel group, the ELN.
"We will deploy corrective measures to ensure that the victims get the truth, proportional justice, reparations -- and no repetitions" of the past, Duque said of the FARC deal.
