The girls were rescued from a house in Old Rajinder Nagar and they disclosed that they belong to Jharkhand, Assam and West Bengal. They belong to poor family and were brought to Delhi by their neighbours and known persons. Through placement agencies they were forced to work as maids. "On questioning, they stated that they are working there for about a year and complained that owners of the cottage factory made them work at least 18 hours a day. They also disclosed that no salary was paid so far," police said. Two cases have been registered against the employers.
