The gadget, called Voyce, is worn as a collar, and gathers information about a dog's steps, calories burned and periods of rest.
The device is equipped with a sensor that uses radio frequencies to measure heart and respiratory rates of your canine companion.
Voyce, which was announced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, can store about two weeks of information and the data is funnelled to a mobile app dashboard, 'TechHive' reported.
The collar can accommodate massive breeds like the Great Dane but toy breeds will have to wait for a smaller version of the device.
