New Executive members of Arunachal Press Club to work for

The new executive members of Arunachal Press Club (APC) and Arunachal Pradesh Union of Working Journalists (APUWJ) have resolved to work for the welfare of the media fraternity with renewed zeal.
The members of the APC, the APUWJ and the Arunachal Electronic Media Association on Friday unanimously selected the new executive members of the APC and the APUWJ for the 2016-19 session, at the Arunachal Press Club here.
Into his second stint as the APC President, Chopa Cheda expressed gratitude to the state and assured to carry forward the ongoing activities "with active support of the team".
Cheda said the new committee would soon chalk out plans to push for the government's approval for a permanent plot for establishing the press colony.

APUWJ President Amar Sangno urged the members to come forward with suggestions to help improve the current situation of the media in the state.
