'Dilli Nayi Purani - Kalakar Ki Nazar Se', organised by Kaladrishti and NDMC, will showcase the co-existence of the past and present of Delhi, offering a kaleidoscopic view of the national capital from March 7.
"We have the broken walls of the Purana Kila alongside the Trade Fair Authority on one side and Delhi Geological Garden on the other.
"The high rise buildings of Connaught Place co-exist with the Agrasen ki Baoli. The event aims to project this unique feature of Delhi," organisers said.
From hand-painted film hoardings giving a trip down the memory lane to graffiti on walls; from colonial era sketches of the city to vintage images from the time bygone, the mela promises to be a one-stop junction for those who wish to know Delhi better.
Exhibits will also include installations and sculptures, along with a special section dedicated to children, as well as decorative art on human body -- body painting, nail art, hair art et al.
The event, scheduled to be held at Palika Park here, will come to a close on March 11.
