The state government is coming out with a new scheme for alloting land to educational institutions, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today said.
The Government would have separate criteria to provide land to educational institutions, Khattar said.
Details about the criteria were, however, not elaborated.
Khattar was speaking after laying the foundation stone of a multi-purpose hall of Shrimad Bhagwad Gita Senior Secondary School to be constructed at a cost of Rs 4 crore and extension block of Luv Kush Hostel to be constructed at a cost of Rs 8 crore here, according to an official release.
On this occasion, he announced to give Rs one crore for both the projects, it said.
Kurukshetra MP Raj Kumar Saini and Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Krishan Kumar Bedi announced to give Rs 21 lakh and Rs 11 lakh respectively for these projects.

Khattar said that people are not satisfied with the education system in the state. The poor results of classes X and XII examination of Haryana School Education Board was a matter of concern, he said.
He also said that state government is considering to restart examination from class I to VIII in the state which was abolished by the previous Congress government.
"The recent results of Class X and XII standards have shown the adverse affects of this decision," he said.
The CM said that an agreement would be signed between the government schools and private educational institutions to bring improvement in the education system and to provide quality education to the children.
With the BJP-led NDA Government completing one year in office tomorrow, Khattar said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government and the Haryana Government have implemented many schemes to enhance the social status of the people.
"In the next five years, we would set up Ram Rajya in the state and the people would themselves analyze that the previous regime was not less than Ravan Raj," the release quoted him as saying.
