New sports facility will be created in Vizag: Krishna Babu

Visakhapatnam Port Trust Chairman M T Krishna Babu assured to create a new sports facility in the city in addition to the existing port indoor stadium for the development of the sports in the region.
Addressing the Volleyball Physical Education Teachers(PET), coaches and senior players on the concluding day of the coaches clinic, Krishna Babu said he would consult with the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation and the public sector undertakings in the city for the establishing of new sports facility.
He said the best sports infrastructure was very essential for the development of any game.
He asked the coaches to tap the sporting talent among the boys from the childhood and train them in different games to maintain physical fitness and build up career of the child.
The Andhra Pradesh Volleyball Association had organised week-long coaches clinic from August 3 to create awareness among trainers on the new techniques in the game.
Association's secretary A Ramana Rao said with a view to bring back the past glory of state volleyball team which was in the top position earlier, and to develop the volleyball game in the state, the association has decided to conduct Coaches Clinic to produce best coaches for the state association.

This type of coaches clinics will be conducted in future at various places in the 13 district of the state, he said.
Association President PVGR Naidu (Ganababu) said it decided to develop the game of volleyball from the gross root level.
Association's Honorary Chairman S Kodana Ramaiah was also present on the occasion.
