The building would house various police departments including that of the office of the Director General of Police (DGP).
Operational functions will start soon from the new building located in Lalkothi area and other departments of the police would be shifted here from the old one, an official said.
The building has been constructed with the cost of 102 Crs with two-level basement, he said.
