The Gurgaon centre, which will be operational from March 30, is part of a wider strategy to extend the UK's reach across India and roll out further premium services to customers.
"With Gurgaon opening, we will have 13 visa application centres across India - more than any other country. But there is always more we can do, which is why we will continue to work to expand and improve the service," said Sir James Bevan British High Commissioner to India in a statement.
He said that India continues to be one of the UK's closest partners and Indian business customers are particularly important to the UK.
The UK will open a user-pay visa application centre in Jaipur next month and there are already plans to extend the visa application centre network further.
