Newborn girl dies due to medical negligence

A newborn girl today died at a private hospital here allegedly due to medical negligence, police said today.
The doctors allegedly forgot to give antibiotic injections to the newborn following which, she died at Punru Nursing home here, police said.
Two doctors have been booked for medical negligence after the baby's family members staged a protest at the hospital, they said.
Ashish Pradhan's wife was admitted in the hospital here for her delivery on last Friday, following which she was discharged. On Tuesday, when the baby fell ill, he was admitted to the hospital where she died today.
