All the fifteen MLAs and MP visited the family estate of YSR Congress President Y S Jaganmohan Reddy at Idupulapaya near here, where the samadhi (memorial) is located, to pay homage.
Talking to mediapersons at YSR Ghat, M Rajamohan Reddy, the newly-elected Lok Sabha MP from Nellore, expressed hope that YSRCP would come to power and usher in a "golden era" for people "who have reposed trust" in Jagan, currently in jail in a disproportionate assets case.
Speaking on the occasion, YSRCP MLA B Sobha Nagi Reddy thanked the people for their "overwhelming" support to the party candidates in the June 12 by-polls.
Claiming that Telugu Desam had colluded with the ruling Congress, she said YSRCP would act as the main Opposition in the state.
YSRCP won 15 out of the 18 Assembly seats and the lone Lok Sabha constituency where by-elections were held.
