Newspaper hawker found dead on rail track

A 30-year-old newspaper vendor was today found dead on the rail track near Mahesh Nagar railway crossing here, police said.
The deceased was identified as Rakesh Kumar Vaishnav, they said, adding that his motorcycle was found parked along the road side.
Efforts are on to ascertain whether the incident was an accident or a case of suicide, police said.
Government Railway Police (GRP) recovered the body from the track and handed over to the local police for verification and postmortem, they added.
