The state unit of the Indian Red Cross Society has extended help to cyclone-affected people in the coastal state with foodgrains, an official here said.
Governor Shekhar Dutt yesterday flagged off the two vans containing foodgrains at the state capital, the official said, adding that three volunteers of the humanitarian organisation were sent with the relief material.
Foodgrains sent include 30 quintal wheat and 10 quintal jaggery, he said.
