The NGO Gramium won the hackathon for its simple and innovative solution.
The team for non-profit organisation 'Child' was declared the runner-up, while another NGO 'Surabi Trust' walked away with the Best Use of Technology award, a PayPal statement said.
The two-day event was held recently which saw participation from 15 NGOs focusing on economic empowerment of underprivileged sections of the society, it said.
"Over 150 developers participated in the hackathon to create tech-based solutions for the challenges faced by non-profit organisations", it said.
"This year, we once again witnessed the enthusiasm and tremendous collaborative spirit such a platform can engender, with highly innovative prototypes being created..", he said.
