Fortis Cancer Care ups stake in Lalitha Healthcare to 79.43%
Fortis Healthcare's arm Fortis Cancer Care Ltd today increased its stake in group firm Lalitha Healthcare Pvt Ltd (LHPL) to 79.43 per cent by acquiring shares from its directors.
Fortis Cancer Care Ltd (FCCL) acquired 98,972 equity shares amounting to 12.2 per cent stake at Rs 10 per share, Fortis Healthcare said in a BSE filing.

* Travel services firm Thomas Cook India has elevated Mahesh Iyer as the Chief Operating Officer and has assigned new roles as well as additional portfolios to its senior management team.

CMI receives approval from Indian Railways for cables supply * Cable maker CMI has received approval from the Indian Railways to supply Hard Drawn Contact Wire and Catenery Wire used in the electric traction of trains at 25 KV.
It estimates potential business accretion of Rs 100 crore from the supply of these cables to railways in FY17.
The cost of these specialised cables is around Rs 12 lakh per km of track and the company is among few manufacturers which has received approval from the Railways for its supply.

Indiabulls plans to raise Rs 50 crore on private placement * Indiabulls Housing Finance plans to raise Rs 50 crore by issuing non-convertible debentures on private placement.
"The company proposes to issue 500 secured non-convertible redeemable debentures with a face value of Rs 10 lakh each aggregating to Rs 50 crore on private placement basis," the company said in a regulatory filing today.
The NCD issue has two options, one with a tenor of 498 days but with a zero coupon rate. The second option with five years tenor carries a coupon rate of 9 per cent per year for the NCDs.
Shares of the company closed 1.1 per cent up at Rs 728.90 apiece on BSE.
