The 34-year-old actor-singer got his back inked at a Covina, California parlour and "invested 30 painful hours in the chair," TMZ reported.
The new body ink features a dove, a crucifixion scene, and two cherubs which reportedly represent his twins with estranged wife Mariah Carey, Monroe and Morroco.
The tattoo, etched from his neck to his lower back, includes a text that read, "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do."
Photographs of the tattoo process will be featured in an upcoming issue of Urban Ink Magazine. Cannon himself has not yet addressed the report.
The latest tattoo he got was said to be an addition to the previous one.
