Nick Cannon getting over Mariah Carey split one day at a time

Actor Nick Cannon says he is taking his breakup with wife Mariah Carey day by day.
"I'm just taking everything one day at a time and just being the best person that I can possibly be at the end of the day," Cannon, 34, told Extra, adding that he wishes his wife of eight years, "nothing but the best."
Cannon was photographed sporting an elaborate tattoo which covered up his "Mariah" tribute inking and the actor revealed he requires more sittings to cover it entirely.
"It's not finished yet. It wasn't supposed to be revealed yet... I had just gotten it done, it was painful...It hurt a lot and I'm still not finished, I'm still probably like six more sessions away."

After Us Weekly exclusively revealed in August that the couple are on the rocks, Cannon confirmed days later that they've been living separately. "There is trouble in paradise," the dad of two revealed to The Insider With Yahoo. "We have been living in separate houses for a few months.
