The 22-year-old singer, who started wearing the band when he was 11 to symbolise his desire to abstain from sex until marriage, admits he has grown-up a lot in recent years, reported Us magazine.
"This is a real growth in me and not something I'm doing anymore. But I've got my set of values, things that are important to me now at this point in my life and that's all that matters," Nick said.
"What's important now is my relationship with God, and that I not judge and that I not be judge."
Nick's older brother Joe Jonas, 25, who also previously wore a purity ring, revealed last year that he lost his virginity when he was 20.
