Nickel and copper gain on sustained demand

Nickel, copper and brass utensils scrap prices gained further at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists buying amidst sustained demand from industrial users.
While, tin slipped owing to sluggish demand from alloy industries.
Nickel rose by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 830 from Monday's close Rs 825.
Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper armiture, copper utensils, copper billets and brass utensils scrap inched up each to Rs 443, Rs 434, Rs 410, Rs 383, Rs 471 and Rs 304, respectively.
However, tin prices went-down by Rs 20 per kg to Rs 1,360 as against Rs 1,380 yesterday.
