Nickel and Zinc prices slip on subdued demand

Nickel and Zinc slipped at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists selling amid subdued demand from alloy industries.
While, copper utensils scrap and brass utensils scrap recovered owing to renewed offtake from consumer industries.
Zinc softened by Re per kg to Rs 170 from yesterday's closing level of Rs 171.
Nickel dropped by a Rs 5 per kg to Rs 705.
However, copper utensils scrap rose by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 360 as against Rs 357 and brass utensils scrap moved up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 289 from yesterday's closing of Rs 287.
