Nickel prices weakened by 0.50 per cent to Rs 927.70 per kg in futures market today as traders cut their bets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, nickel for delivery in August declined by Rs 4.70, or 0.50 per cent to Rs 927.70 per kg in a business turnover of 8788 lots.
Similarly, the metal for delivery in September contracts was trading lower by Rs 4.50, or 0.48 per cent to Rs 932.80 per kg in 444 lots.
Analysts attributed the fall in nickel futures to offloading of positions by participants.
