Nickel slips on subdued industrial demand, global cues

Nickel fell by Rs 5 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today owing to slackened demand from consuming industries amid a weak global trend.
Traders said sentiments dampened after base metals fell in global markets before data on Wednesday that may show China's economy expanded at the weakest pace since 2009.
Meanwhile, nickel for delivery in three months lost 3 per cent to USD 11,395 a metric tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
In the national capital, nickel plate (4x4) prices traded lower Rs 5 to Rs 965-970 per kg.

Zinc ingot Rs 112-118, Nickel plate (4x4) Rs 965-970, Gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, Copper mixed scrap Rs 398, Chadri deshi Rs 285.
Lead ingot Rs 106, Lead imported Rs 107, Aluminium ingots Rs 156, Aluminium sheet cutting Rs 157, Aluminium wire scrap Rs 159 and Aluminium utensils scrap Rs 156.
