Nickel softens on sluggish demand

Nickel prices softened at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists selling amidst sluggish demand from alloy industries.
While, select copper and lead edged up owing to good demand from industrial users.
Nickel prices moved down by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 820 from Last Saturday's close Rs 825.
However, lead, copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper armiture, copper wire bar and copper sheet cuttings inched up by a Re per kg to Rs 136, Rs 380, Rs 370, Rs 358, Rs 408 and Rs 355 respectively.
