Nickel spurts on renewed demand

Nickel and lead prices recovered at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists buying amid renewed demand from alloy industries.
Elsewhere, copper armiture, copper utensils and zinc eased by poor offtake from consumer industries.
Nickel prices climbed by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 815 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 805 and lead prices rose by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 123 as compared to Rs 120 yesterday.
Copper scrap heavy, brass utensils scrap and brass sheet cuttings edged up by a Re per kg each to Rs 408, Rs 300 and RS 308 respectively.
While, zinc prices eased by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 149 as against to Rs 151 previously.
Copper armiture and copper utensils softened by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 401 and Rs 378 respectively.
