Nickel and tin prices fell in an otherwise dull non-ferrous metal market here today due to stockist selling amidst lower demand from alloy industries.
The industrial metal was trading flat at the LME, mired near two-week lows as worries about calm economic growth in top metals consumer China crimped expectations of demand.
Nickel dropped by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 990 from Monday's closing level of Rs 995.
Copper scrap heavy and copper wire bar softened by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 505 and Rs 541, respectively.
