Nickel, tin extend gains on good demand

Nickel and tin prices extended its gains at the non-ferrous metal market here today on sustained stockists buying amidst good demand from alloy industries.
Elsewhere, select copper, brass, aluminium, zinc and lead rose on fresh offtake from consumer industries.
Nickel shot-up by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,165 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 1,165.
Tin advanced by Rs 7 per kg to Rs 1,597 from Rs 1,590.
Aluminium ingots rose by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 150 from Rs 154 and copper utensils scrap moved up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 464 as against Rs 462 yesterday.
Copper cables scrap, copper armiture, copper wire bar, brass sheet cutting, zinc and lead inched-up by a Re per kg each to Rs 490, Rs 480, Rs 518, Rs 362, Rs 174 and Rs 145, respectively.
