It plans to achieve the target by organising 25 job fairs, Arun Kumar Jha, Director General of NIESBUD (The National Institute for Entrepreunership and Small Business Development) told reporters here.
The job fairs would be organised with the help of Nehru Yuvak Kendra (NYK), he said adding the first such was organised in Delhi while the one at Patna today was the second.
NIESBUD is engaged in coordinating and overseeing the activities of various institutions/agencies engaged in entrepreneurship development particularly in the area of small industry and small business.
Jha said the organisation provided training to 3000 youths in Bihar in the last two years out of which 1000 are self-employed.
The job fair in Patna which was organised by NIESBUD in partnership with a NGO Ashanurup Lok Seva Samiti was inaugurated by cricketer K Srikkanth.
