The incident occurred yesterday around 1 PM when CISF officials found the activities of a foreign national, identified as Chinazor F Mbalughi (38), as suspicious following which he was taken for a thorough frisking.
The CISF said ten capsules containing Cocaine were allegedly recovered from the handbag of Mbalughi (38), who had arrived at the domestic terminal to take a flight to Mumbai.
The Nigerian national was subsequently handed over by Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officials to anti-narcotics sleuths, who later arrested him.
"Two people identified as Nasib and Narendra Pal were found involved in a theft at IGI airport. Nasib's frisking led to recovery of currency notes worth 31,000 Hungarian Forint and 196 coins, which was stolen in alleged connivance with Pal," a CISF spokesperson said.
Delhi Police later arrested them and was probing the case, the spokesperson added.
