A 34-year-old Nigerian national has been arrested from south Delhi's Chhatarpur area for allegedly possessing cocaine meant for supplying it at rave parties during Christmas and New Year celebrations in the national capital, police said today.
The accused, identified as Izuchukwu Josephand, resided at a rented house in Chhatarpur. The police arrested him last evening and recovered around 104 grammes of cocaine from his possession, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Alok Verma said.
During the interrogation, Josephand told police that he used to purchase the drug from two Nigerian nationals named Michel Mandela and Frank, police said.
He also said that the recovered cocaine was to be supplied to one Indian fellow (code name Bad-one) who allegedly wanted cocaine for parties on Christmas and New Year eve, police said.
