Nigerian held for selling cocaine

A Nigerian national was today arrested from Banjara Hills area in the city for allegedly selling cocaine, police said.
Police recovered 75 grams of the narcotic drug from him.
Based on credible information, sleuths of West Zone DCP party nabbed the accused, 29-year-old Henry Ifeanyi, they said.
A release issued by the city police said, in the year 2013, Ifeanyi had come to India on business visa in Mumbai, had taken shelter at Goa and then went back.
"He came back to Hyderabad again last year on student visa, got admission at an institute for diploma in architecture and had been residing at Syed Nagar in Banjara Hills," it said.
Through his African friends staying in Goa, who were reportedly into illegal sale of narcotic drugs, Henry received cocaine and sold it in the city, police said.
Police seized 75 cocaine pills each containing one gram of the narcotic drug, Rs 43,000 cash, two cell phones and one two-wheeler from him.
The case is being investigated by Special Team of Narcotic Drug Cell attached to Central Crime Station (CCS), a wing of Hyderabad Police, to bring out the source for initiation of action, the release added.
