Srinagar, the summer capital of the state, recorded the minimum temperature of minus 2.1 degrees Celsius - same as that of the previous night, an official of the Meteorological Department here said.
He said the famous ski-resort of Gulmarg in north Kashmir registered the low of minus 1.2 degrees Celsius, slightly up from the previous night's minus 1.4 degrees Celsius.
Pahalgam hill resort in south Kashmir recorded the low of minus 4.3 degrees Celsius compared to minus 4.4 degrees Celsius yesterday, the official said.
The official said Qazigund - the gateway town to Kashmir Valley in south - recorded the low of minus 2.0 degrees Celsius against yesterday's minus 2.4 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature in Leh registered an increase of nearly two degrees from minus 9.6 degrees Celsius yesterday to settle at minus 7.8 degrees Celsius, the official said.

The official said the nearby Kargil town recorded the minimum temperature of minus 5.5 degrees Celsius - up from the previous night's minus 6.6 degrees Celsius.
