Night temperatures rise in Raj, Phalodi coldest at 8 deg C

Night temperatures increased marginally in parts of Rajashtan where Phalodi was recorded as the coldest place, recording a minimum temperature of 8 degrees Celsius followed by Sriganganagar which recorded 8.9 degrees Celsius.
Sawaimadhopur, Bundi, Churu, Vanasthali and Jaipur recorded minimums of 9, 9.6, 10.2, 10.3 and 10.4 degrees Celsius while other stations registered minimum temperature between 11 and 13.6 degrees Celsius, according to MeT department here.
Fog prevailed in northern region which caused delay in movement of trains.
North western railway rescheduled Jodhpur-Varanasi and Jaipur-Allahabad Express trains while 13 other trains including Allahabad-Jaipur and Agra Fort-Ajmer Express are running late, an NWR spokesperson said.
