Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in
Press Trust of Indiaremaining parts of Saurashtra and Kutch and were below normal in some parts of Haryana, Konkan, Goa and coastal Andhra Pradesh. They were markedly above normal in east Uttar Pradesh; some parts of east Madhya Pradesh; appreciably to markedly above normal in Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand and Bihar, some parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim and Vidarbha; remaining parts of east Madhya Pradesh; appreciably above normal in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, west Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Chhattisgarh and Telangana and were above normal in some parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, east Rajasthan, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka and in remaining parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. They were normal over the rest of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 4.2 deg C has been recorded at Adampur (Punjab) in the plains of the country.
