Nikah solemnised in hospital

In a strange turn of events, marriage ceremonies which were destined to take place in an atmosphere of merriment amid beating of drums and auspicious tunes of shehnai, were instead solemnised in a hospital on a simple and solemn note.
Itfan Rikshawala, son of Dila Umarvali Rikshawaka, got married to Samaiya, daughter of Mushabhai Bombeywalla on the premises of a hospital in Bharuch on Friday where Rikshawala is bed-ridden for kidney failure.
Irfan's marriage was to be solemnised on February 22 but was advance in view of frail health of his father.
