Nila Infra gets Rs 107-cr order from Rajasthan govt

Nila Infrastructures today said it has received Rs 107-crore order from Rajasthan government to build affordable houses for people belonging to economically weaker section of the society and those in the low income group.
The company "has received a work order pertaining to construction contract worth Rs 1,072.8 million from Jodhpur Development Authority (JoDA), Rajasthan government for construction of Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Low Income Group (LIG) Houses", it said in a BSE filing.
The project envisages overall construction of about 1.2 million sqft built-up area and has to be completed within 48 months, it said.
The project will comprise total 3,152 residential units - 2,128 for EWS with 325 sqft super built-up area and 1,024 for LIG with 500 sqft super built-up area, it added.
"Having gained proprietary knowledge about project execution at Jodhpur from our ongoing affordable housing project at village Aanganwa, Jodhpur, we are confident to execute this second affordable housing project very efficiently," Deep Vadodaria, Chief Operating Officer, Nila Infra said.
Nila Infrastructures is a well-established player in developing civic urban infrastructure projects on EPC, Turnkey, PPP Mode, as well as Private White Label Construction and Industrial Infrastructure Projects.
Shares of the company were trading up 2.70 per cent at Rs 19 apiece on BSE.
