including women, were killed when a truck collided with a van at Alfuke village here, police said today.
The incident took place when the truck driver lost control of the vehicle on the Ferozepur-Fazilka road at 7.30 AM, police said, adding, it rammed into the van carrying nine persons.
The victims belonged to Changha village in Guru Har Shahi, police said.
After the mishap, the truck driver absconded from the spot, police said, adding the investigation was under progress.
